Starting Over.... 2/13/2012

I ended yesterday cramming rice krispie treats in my face.  So let's try this again.

Today, I had the power breakfast - 5 points.

Lunch, was some soup - 6 points, crackers, 3 points and some cookies worth 9 points.

Yeah.  So...

Dinner is already planned - it's going to be 6 points.

Jackpot - if I can stick to it.

This is not easy, kids.  Don't try it at home.

Breakfast, Lunch - 2/12/12

So, breakfast, you've seen before - English muffin, cheese, l/f lunch meat. 5 points.

Lunch got a little hairy.

They brought us a complimentary pizza because apparently they forgot to put our order in:

1 slice, with sausage.... 6 points

And then my salad.

Well, there was chicken and spinach - total 4 points

Almonds -  5 points

Craisins  - 3 points

Goat Cheese - 6 points

So I'm done for the day already - except that I earned six points at Zumba this morning.

But I killed three of those with a piece of candy.  Seriously?  Seriously.

So...

I should really have stopped with the pizza.

Or not taken a slice.

Well, Rome wasn't built in a day, and I will not become a waif overnight...

Or realistically, ever.

But I'm making better decisions.

Dinner - 2/11/2012

So,  I behaved beautifully, all things considered...

I ate a pointless apple and an orange, and a little seaweed.. zero.

I went to Trader Joe's and ate a cookie - 1 point

I came home and made TJ's Chile Lime Chicken burgers.

Burger - 4 points
Cheese - 2 points
Guacamole - 2 points
English Muffin - 2 points

Total - 10 points.

Ergo, I am done for the day.  Yet, I am still hungry.

Soooo unfaiiiiiir.

I might use my Zumba points and have a snack of ff popcorn after awhile.

We shall see.

2/11/2012 - Lunch

I ate an apple around 11AM, then hit up Zumba class.

After Zumba, Taco Bell - a Fresco Chicken Burrito and a soft taco...

Not to Scale

I could kinda go for another...

13 points total.

I have ten left for today, and I'll be using that to eat dinner. I'm making Salmon Loaf.  Don't worry, it's going to be better than it sounds.  I hope.

Breakfast 2/11/12 - Back in the saddle.

Had to make a quick egress from the domicile today, so I stopped and went to the ne plus ultra of breakfast destinations:

God, it looks so shiny and pretty.

I had a McDonald's Egg McMuffin - sans egg.  I don't like rubbery overcooked eggs.

So with the egg, it's 8 points, I'm going to go ahead and say that without, it's 6 points.

I also had a humongo Diet Dr. Pepper.

Breakfast of champions.  I came into the office to get some work done, and in about an hour... I'm off to Zumba with Carrie.  I need to leave some stress and assorted baggage on the studio floor.

Twenty two points left today.

I'm going to make it a great day.

Post Lunch through Dinner 2/10/12

And here's where it went Tango Uniform.

I ate a mini-bag of popcorn (not pictured) 3 points.

I ate 2 points worth of raw unsalted almonds.

I ate some fruit - pointless, if you will.

And then I got into a fracas at work. Started eating my feelings.

Dinner was one bite of a Wendy's Double Stack - estimating at 3 points

1.5 cups of pasta - 8 points

Nice dirty stove.  Your mom would be ashamed.

Houston, we have a problem.

Large Wendy's Chili - 8 points

Shredded cheese  - 2 points

Saltines - 3 points

Total.  29 points.  Plus the 13 from lunch and breakfast.

And now, I'm eating 7 points worth of frozen yogurt.  BOOM.

No activity points, either.

Tomorrow will be better.

Let's assume I have 20 extra special bonus points left on the week and call it even.

Lunch 2/10/12

Chick-Fil-A.  Food of the Baptist Gods:

Fact:  If you unass yourself from the car and walk into the CFA in Cool Springs, you save time.

So, we're calling the Chargrilled Chicken sandwich 8 PP.  The beverage is a Coke Zero, which, as the name implies, is 0 PP.

Now, I'm going to talk to you about the fruit.  All the guides assign it points.  But this is plain, unsweetened, unaltered fruit - they can give it points, but I'm calling it ZERO.

Because I can.  And because I eat CFA once a week, tops.

If I ate one of those a day, I might start to think about counting it.  But not here, not now.  Not never.

I actually haven't even eaten the fruit yet - probably won't for awhile - the sandwich does a good job of keeping me feeling full.

And with that, back to work.

PS - I ate a post-breakfast/pre-lunch banana.  No points there either.
